My stay at the Holiday Inn in Effingham, Illinois was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were spacious enough for my grandkids and me, clean, and nicely furnished, making for a comfortable stay. The service was friendly and very professional, with staff going out of their way to accommodate our requests. The location was convenient, just off the interstate and close to various restaurants and stores. The dining experience could have been better, with some dishes not being as hot as expected. While the facilities were satisfactory, there was a slight disruption during my visit that affected the overall experience.
